European Tour winner Ray Russell (Centurion) produced a classy 67 to land the Muswell Hill Pro-Am by three shots.
Russell, 43, was on the Tour for many years and won a Cannes Open title as well as finishing tied-fourth in the 1998 Open at Royal Birkdale.
He has shown some fine form already this season, taking a share of third spot in the East's opening Order of Merit event at Aldwickbury Park.
And he followed up with a flawless 67 at Muswell Hill to beat former European Tour colleague Rob Coles (Maylands) and James Jankowski (JJ Golf).
Russell parred all the opening nine holes before hitting a real purple patch. He birdied the 10th and 11th before eagling the short par-four 13th and then parred his way home to finish at four-under.
Jankowski had seven birdies in his round – including four on the spin from the 11th. That got him to four-under but a double-bogey and also another dropped shot at the last left him in a share of second spot with Coles.
