Lloyd Saltman returned to form to regain the Edinburgh and East of Scotland Alliance championship's Uniroyal Trophy at Gullane.
The Archerfield Links man, who was delighted to claim victory after struggling on the Jamega Tour, shot rounds of four-under-par 67 over the No 2 course and six-under 62 over the No 3 course for an excellent 10-under-par total of 129.
Saltman (above, with Edinburgh and East Alliance president Stephen Doyle) won the trophy, which he last claimed in 2006, by five strokes from Scott Grieve (Turnhouse) (69-65 for 134), with Scott Catlin (Greenburn) filling third place on 136 (70-66).
Former PGA champion Andrew Oldcorn (Kings Acre) finished fourth on 138 (72-66)
Louis Gaughan (Bathgate) won the Order of Merit with 656pts, pushing long-time leader Ross Neil (Drumpellier) into second place with 642. Chris Morris (Kingsknowe) finished third on 630.
Robin Cockburn, playing off eight, won the handicap championship for the Gavin Clark Trophy with net scores of 71 and 69 for 140. Glyn Stevens, who plays off seven at Kings Acre, matched that net aggregate with 72 and 68. The tie-breaker was the better net score at Gullane No 2 and Cockburn had the edge, 71 to 72.
