Sandy Jones speaks at BB&O event

The chief executive of The PGA Sandy Jones was among the guests of honour at the BB&O County Union annual dinner at Blue Mountain Golf Club.

Jones, who was joined by new PGA chairman David Murchie at the event, was the guest speaker along with the captain of the R&A George Macgregor.

The event was attended by numerous PGA Professionals and Jones made a passionate speech both on the state of the game and the importance of the professional at the heart of the game.

The PGA in BB&O are committed to working more closely with the County Union in the future and Jones’ and Murchie’s attendance at the event undoubtedly helped in confirming that commitment.
