Second Andalusia date added to winter schedule

The PGA in England (South) have added a second Golf Escapes Andalusia Overseas PGA pro-am to their exciting winter schedule.

The event will give PGA Professionals the chance to tee off at Valderrama (above), Finca Cortesin and La Reserva, on November 17-19.

Included in the trip will be four nights in a twin room on a B&B basis at the Five Star Hotel Elba Estepona, plus an hour long welcome cocktail party, excellent amateur prizes, a prize presentation gala dinner and everything supported by on-site PGA & Golf Escapes representatives. 

PGA Professional and Golf Escapes director Mike Bryant said: “Following the success of the traditional PGA South pro-am in February, in November 2013 we added our first Pro-Am to Valderrama which was a great success and enjoyed by all.

"The November 2014 trip filled up almost immediately, and we were lucky enough to be able to secure Valderrama again and accommodate up to 10 more teams in the second week.”

The PGA in England (South) Secretary Sam Smith added: “It is great that the demand for high quality tournament golf means that we are able to offer PGA Members the opportunity to play such fantastic venues, and hopefully enjoy some welcome winter sun as well.”
