Michael Watson (Wessex Golf Centre) completed his second win in three days with a four-under-par round of 67 for a two-shot triumph at Cotswold Edge.
After sharing top spot with Richard O’Hanlon (Polzeath) at Carlyon Bay he started with a birdie, added another at the fourth before dropping his only shot at the fifth. He completed the back nine in three-under, picking up shots at the tenth, 13th and 14th.
He faced a long wait before Christian Vine (Woodbury Park) produced his best form of the season to take second place. He made four birdies and dropped two shots in a tidy 69.
Watson is comfortable on the Gloucestershire course for he won there two years ago.
In-form players Sion Bebb ( Vale Hotel) and Paul Jones (Canford Magna) shot one-under-par 70, matched later by Ed Goodwin (Cirencester).
Giuseppe Licata (Bristol Golf Centre) and Barry Forster (North Wilts) shared sixth on level par.
Jones headed the winning team on 127, one better than Vine’s trio who beat Daryl Kelley’s Filton team on countback.
