Seymour and Ainsley victorious

Dan Seymour overcame Scott Marshall to claim the 2014 BB&O matchplay title at the Berkshire Golf Club in the first of a county double-header.
Seymour took an advantage on the first hole of a damp Blue course and was never headed eventually winning by 3&1 and claiming the last Order of Merit event for 2014.
On Thursday the first of the Stoke Park Winter Series, sponsored by Galvin Green, took place with Craig Ainsley and Kieran Hudson from Wexham Park finishing a stroke clear with 44 points.
They finished ahead of John Kennedy and E Rothwell, who beat former Chelsea and AC Milan striker Andrei Shevchenko and his PGA Professional Lewis Atkinson on countback.
