Tom Shadbolt followed in the footsteps of some golfing greats by claiming victory at Pebble Beach in the American Golf Holiday (AGH) biennial Pro-Am Tour.

The 25-year-old PGA Europro Tour player finished two-under-par to claim the title ahead of Kings Hill Golf Club’s Benn Barham and Upminster Golf Club’s Marc Etherington, who finished second and third respectively.

The 54-hole event also featured The Links course at Spanish Bay and Spyglass Hill with the Pro-Am team event won by Simon Boyd and his playing partners Simon Ingram, Toby Ingram and Oliver Ingram. Barham guided his team to second with Shadbolt’s third.

Pebble Beach remains one of golf’s most iconic courses and has hosted several US Opens with Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Tom Watson among legends of the game to taste victory there.

Other tournament playing holidays offered by AGH on the Pro-Am Tour include: The Arizona Classic Pro-Am, The California Classic Pro-Am, The Scottsdale Classic Pro-Am, The Las Vegas Classic Pro-Am, The Hawaiian Classic Pro-Am, The Hilton Head Classic Pro-Am, The Sawgrass Classic Pro-Am and The Whistling Straits Classic Pro-Am.

AGH also offer golf packages including admission to The US Masters at Augusta, The Players Championship, and The Ryder Cup.
