A key date in the Middlesex PGA golfing calendar has been confirmed for 2014 with news the annual Middlesex Par 3 Championship will be staged at Dukes Meadows Golf Club on Tuesday, March 4.

With a limited field of 28 pairs comprising one pro and one amateur, entry cost includes bacon roll and coffee on arrival, a bucket of practice balls, a bowl of soup after nine holes and a two course meal on completion.

Meanwhile organiser of the Middlesex Professionals’ Championship are looking to tie down a date for the tournament between May 12-16.

The 36-hole Middlesex Open Championship is scheduled for mid October 12 with a final date to be decided.

It is open to all qualified PGA members, PGA trainees and amateur players who are members of a club attached to the Middlesex County Golf Union and have a maximum handicap of 7.4.
