Speakers confirmed for 2024 PGA Members' International Conference

A full line-up of speakers has been announced for the eagerly anticipated PGA Members' International Conference, which returns in 2024 to Thailand’s exclusive Banyan Tree property in Downtown Bangkok.

Internationally-renowned Mind Factor coach founder and PGA Professional Karl Morris (pictured below) headlines an impressive list of speakers for the event which takes place from 22nd - 25th April, 2024. Widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading golf performance coaches, Morris has worked with six Major championship winners, over 100 PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LPGA players including Louis Oosthuizen, Darren Clarke, Graeme McDowell, Lee Westwood, Paul McGinley, Ryan Fox and Laurie Canter.

Morris is also the brain behind the Mind Factor – a practical approach to performance coaching for golfers of all levels that is based on real-world experience as opposed to classroom theory. As a consultant to The PGA, Morris has presented seminars all over the world and has a passion for demystifying psychology and providing a range of tools to assist performance breakthrough at all levels of golf.

PGA Members and delegates will have the unique opportunity during the Conference to study with Morris, to understand and apply the in-depth principles and application of The Mind Factor in their daily management and coaching.

Alongside Morris, PGA Professional Steve Furlonger will also be providing a coaching seminar. With over a decade researching Golf’s ground reaction forces and 3D motion capture and analysis, Steve has enjoyed working with numerous Tournament Professionals from the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LPGA, as well as the current World Long drive Champion. Now travelling the globe, Steve works with numerous PGAs, Federations and some of the leading coach education institutions as an esteemed educator and international speaker.

Other speakers confirmed for the 2024 conference include: Spencer Robinson (Chief Communications Officer - Asian Golf Industry Federation), Michael Moir (Founder & Managing Director - Fenix Apparel), Chris Geraghty (General Manager - Vattanac Golf Resort, Cambodia), DJ Flanders (Executive Vice President - TROON International), Carl Heaton (Marketing & Communications Specialist) and golf course architect Tim Lobb (Principal Lobb & Partners). In addition, David Rollo (Chief Operating Officer) Asian Tour and the team from Titleist Asia will also be presenting.

PGA Chief Executive, Robert Maxfield, will also be in attendance to provide PGA Members with an update on the Association’s activities last year and plans for 2024 and beyond.

The annual conference will primarily be based at The Banyan Tree Resort Bangkok and will also visit the impressive All Thailand Tour Golf Center for all practical coaching sessions.

In addition to the education element and the chance to learn from golf industry experts, the conference affords delegates superb networking opportunities with more than 50 PGA Members from 16 countries attending the last time the conference was held in 2023.
