Still time to enter the key tournaments for 2024

25/04/2024

With the Regional and National Tournament schedules now underway, time is of the essence for any Members still wanting to enter their preferred tournaments for 2024 and enjoy great competition at some superb venues.

If you haven’t yet done so, visit the Tournaments Schedule page to choose the events you wish to enter. With PGA Cup and Women’s PGA Cup places up for grabs this year – and a trip to Oregon to take on your counterparts from the PGA of America – there’s never been a better time to be competing in PGA tournaments.

The headline acts are, of course, the PGA Professional Championship at Conwy and Goswick Links, for male and female Members, respectively. The men’s schedule also includes National Championships for Members in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, taking place at high-quality venues Bowood, Dalmahoy, Pyle & Kenfig and Palmerstown.

WPGA Members, meanwhile, see their season kicking off at Ireland’s Glasson Lakehouse on May 21st, before the WPGA Series then ventures to Saffron Walden, Redditch Golf Club and Tewkesbury Park before a grand finale at Royal Troon that promises to be a spectacular end to the season. Spaces are available in all events.

Male Members over the age of 50 can also still enter Staysure PGA Seniors Championship Q-Series events at Ascot and Rockcliffe Hall, which both offer a route into the prestigious Staysure PGA Seniors Championship on the Legends Tour, as well as exemption into the Final Stage of Legends Tour Q-School.

At Regional level, there’s still time to enter a number of the popular PGA Open Series events. Members can enter any event, irrespective of their region, and compete for a £20,000 prize fund in each one, with Scotland, East, South and Midlands still accepting entries.

There are also a number of team events, including the popular Fourball Championship at Carden Park. The SkyCaddie Pro-Captain Challenge can still also be entered, with a Grand Final taking place at the spectacular Argentario Resort in Italy.

And there’s still time to enter your club in the St. James’s Place National Pro-Am. After a qualifying event at your club, seven Regional Finals, held at prestigious venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, will determine a 12-team field who will battle it out to be crowned St. James’s Place National Pro-Am champions at the magnificent PGA National Turkey.
