Lloyd Kennedy (Chelmsford) shot the lights out to win The Grove Pro-Am in stunning style.
Not only did he fire a fantastic 10-under-par 62, he also won by a massive 10-shot margin.
Kennedy, who held a European Tour card for a season, made an eagle and 10 birdies in his round. It was a round that even included a double bogey on a par-3.
He began at the 10th hole and promptly rattled off three straight birdies.
But it was a staggering spell of scoring around the turn that really turn a good round into an amazing one. He was five-under for four holes from the 17th.
Robert Watson (Porters Park) was second thanks to a 72. Matt Cousens (Grims Dyke) led the successful team on a tally of 129.
Kennedy’s superlative round came just days after fellow Chelmsford ace Andrew Pestell shot nine-under to win the Colchester Pro-Am.
