Mark Talbott (Thorpe Hall) made four birdies in the final seven holes to surge to a one-shot success in the Ely City Pro-Am.
Talbott’s bid for victory looked to have stalled when he made a bogey at the par-4 11th hole.
But the Essex ace bounced back with a birdie brace at the next two holes before maintaining his charge late on.
Talbott also picked up a stroke at the 16th and the last to reach a five-under par tally of 67 – one ahead of Jason Levermore (Little Channels Golf Centre).
Levermore delivered another impeccable round, making four birdies and not dropping a shot in his 68.
Ian Campbell (Cheshunt Park), James Mynott (St Ives) and James Ruebotham (Welwyn Garden City) all tied for third on three-under.
Ben Talbott (Marriott Hanbury Manor Hotel) led the winning team in the pro-am, finishing 16-under – two better than Levermore’s quartet.
