Team Ireland Golf Scheme opens

Applications can now be made for funding from the Team Ireland Golf Scheme in 2015.

The scheme, administered by the Confederation of Golf in Ireland, provides financial and non-financial support for professional tour golfers looking to achieve success at an international level.

Since it was established in 1999, more than €3million has been paid out to professional golfers across the country.

The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Failte Ireland, the Irish Sports Council and the private sector provide the funding for the Trust.
