Tense finish at Kinloss

Nairn Dunbar PGA Professional Gavin Hay and former Scotland international Bryan Fotheringham battled to a grandstand finish during the North Scottish Golfers Alliance meeting at Kinloss.
The duo went toe-to-toe as proceedings drew to a close, Inverness amateur Fotheringham eventually claiming a one shot win.
Fotheringham, who claimed the leading amateur award at the Scottish Alliance championship in October, clinched his latest win with birdies at the 13th and 16th, having started at the 10th, and then added further birdies at the fifth, sixth and eighth to come home in three-under-par 30 in a bogey-free card.
Runner-up Hay, who also started at the 10th, covered his first nine holes with six threes before dropping a shot at the 16th.
Another bogey came at the short fifth before he carded an eagle two at the eighth to complete his four-under-par round of 64.
