The PGA is proud to welcome Callaway Golf as its Principal National Tournament Partner, a collaboration that strengthens their shared commitment to enhancing tournament golf for PGA Members.
Callaway’s support marks a significant milestone in the evolution of National Tournaments and the introduction of the new Tournament Commercial Partnership Framework, a key element of The PGA’s Tournament Strategy.
Callaway Golf is one of the most recognised brands in the golf industry, known for its innovative equipment. With a history of pioneering advancements in golf technology, Callaway has long been dedicated to supporting players of all levels. Their investment in the game extends beyond equipment, with a focus on elevating the overall playing experience through partnerships, sponsorships, and grassroots initiatives.
Callaway’s partnership with The PGA and its Members will drive significant enhancements to the National Tournament Schedule, ensuring long-term investment in prize funds, additional playing opportunities and initiatives designed to further develop the Member playing experience. As part of this partnership, the National Tournament Schedule has been rebranded as the Callaway PGA National Tournaments. This commitment reinforces Callaway’s mission to ‘put PGA Members’ golf first.’
Among the key developments is the expansion of the Open Series, which now includes two additional events, notably the prestigious Leeds Cup. In a move that aligns with Callaway’s latest innovations, the series has been rebranded as the Chrome Tour PGA Open Series—a nod to the company’s latest premium tour ball, the Chrome Tour.
Richard Barker PGA, Executive Director – Business Development, added: "Callaway’s investment strengthens our ability to enhance playing opportunities and drive the long-term sustainability of PGA Tournaments. We are making fantastic progress in our Tournament Strategy, now 12 months into a five-year plan.
“Making financial sustainable investments for our tournament schedule and expanding events is all part of the plan. This is made possible by partners like Callaway, who we are excited to be working with and we thank them for their support.”
