Triple tie at Downfield

Edzell professional Alastair Webster and plus-rated amateurs Ross Bell (Downfield) and James White (Lundin) tied for first place on level par 70 in this week's Midland Golfers Alliance fixture at Downfield Golf Club, Dundee.

Shot of the day came from Brechin pro Stephen Rennie who holed his tee shot with a No 9 iron at the 148-yard ninth hole. 

Dennis Redford (Murrayshall), playing off 10, had the lowest net return of 67.
