Turier Scales joins Associate programme

Turier Scales - one of the largest independent distributors of all types of weighing equipment - has become the latest Associate of The PGA in England & Wales (South West).

The family run business will provide support for the Turier Scales PGA West Region Assistants’ Championship’s scheduled to take place at Chipping Sodbury Golf Club, Gloucestershire, during the Marston’s PGA West Region Championships in August this year.

Managing director Nigel Newport-Black was delighted to announce the agreement: “It is fantastic to be able to support young developing PGA Professionals in the West & South Wales.

“The Region has developed many fine players over the years that have competed at the highest level, we hope our support will help develop one of the stars of the future.”

PGA Regional Secretary Glenn Ross was equally excited by the announcement and grateful for Newport-Black’s support: “Nigel has been a great supporter of many Pro-Am’s and he will now have the ability to use the high-quality events through our Pro-Am schedule and our newly-launched Business Club with his valued clients.
