Two tie for top spot in Mansell series

Former European Tour player Nick Ludwell, from Selby, and Penrith assistant Tim Dykes, shared the spoils in the penultimate PGA in England Wales (North) Mansell Finishes Winter Series at West Lancs.

They both grabbed an eagle, Ludwell on the second to go with five birdies and Dykes on the fifth as he made gains on six other holes.

There's still all to play for in the Order of Merit and with 400 points at stake in the final of six fixtures at St Annes Old Links on April 16 the top 11 professionals will all be in contention.

Ringway's David Brunton is 43 points ahead of second place Dykes with Bramall Park's Oliver Whiteley lying third, 21 adrift of him.
