Gordon Goldie

Veteran Essex Professional Gordon Goldie was announced as the new President of the Essex Professional Golfers Association at the recent AGM held at Maylands Golf and Country Club. Having founded Chingford Golf range in 1974, Gordon is still working harder than ever and playing with the Essex PGA in the two major championships each year, both being over 36 holes. Speaking at the AGM, Gordon expressed his pride and honour at becoming President and looked forward to the celebration of 100 years of Essex Professional Golf at the centenary Essex Open in 2020.
