Chip-off-the-old-block Matthew Webb achieved a rare sequence of results when he won the PGA North Assistants' North East North West Championship at Rockliffe Hall.
The 25-year-old, who works for his dad Marcus who is pro at Northumberland club Bedlingtonshire, tied second at Ilkley and third at Bolton earlier in the series in addition to clocking up three pro-am victories.
Webb, who joined the pro ranks on his 23rd birthday following an impressive county career, said: "It's great to pull off a 1-2-3, especially since I've only played in three events."
He posted a one-under-par 71 at the Darlington resort to win by two strokes from Middlesbrough's Andrew Richardson and Jonathan Levey, from Matfen Hall.
And he was on course for a lower score after reaching the turn on minus two then adding his fourth birdie at the 12th followed by an eagle at the next hole. He immediately gave back a shot then leaked two more when he drove into the water at the short 15th.
Webb, who also won the national assistants' qualifier at The Warwickshire in May, hopes to progress to a full-time playing career but he admitted: "I don't practise as much as I used to because I don't have time for it but I think about the game a bit more.
"But you've got to be realistic and get your PGA qualifications behind you because it's something you can always fall back on."
The win elevated Webb to second place in the Druh Belt & Buckles Assistants' Order of Merit, 181 points behind Bramall's Oliver Whiteley. The final event is the Harold Lees Trophy at Dore & Totley on September 1.
