James Webber (Three Rivers G&CC) notched six birdies on his way to a three-shot triumph in the Rochford Hundred Pro-Am.
Webber, who teed off at the 11th, blasted a four-under-par 67 to cruise home ahead of Ian Ellis (Great Yarmouth & Caister), Marc Dodd (Burstead) and home trainee PGA professional Connor Morris.
Webber was ahead of the card for most of his round but made sure of the victory by closing out with back-to-back birdies.
It was the Essex ace's first East region pro-am win of the season - but he also landed an Order of Merit triumph at Essendon in June.
The latest victory should serve as a big confidence boost ahead of the final Order of Merit tournament of the season next week (the East Anglian Open @ Rayleigh Club, Sep 21-22). Webber currently lies second in the standings to Ian Campbell (Cheshunt Park).
Dodd led the triumphant pro-am team at Rochford Hundred on a tally of 127 - two clear.
