Russell Weir will send sent out his big guns in the Sunday singles an early bid to post some blue on the leader board and engineer an unlikely victory in the PGA Cup at Slaley Hall.
Leading the way will be former Tour veteran Benn Barham (above) along with PGA No. 1 Richard Wallis and newly crowned Scottish PGA Champion Greig Hutcheon.
America, leading 10.5 – 5.5, need just two-and-a-half points to retain the Llandudno Trophy and three to win for a fourth successive time.
Weir’s opposite number Allen Wronowski has sent out cup veteran Mike Small and Bob Sowards first – the pair having successfully combined already to register two-and-a-half points in the first three sessions.
The experienced duo of Chip Sullivan and Mark Sheftic bring up the rear playing Nick Brennan and Jon Barnes respectively.
The first singles is at 9.30am with the last pairing out at 11am. Full singles draw here.
