Wood lands Northants Open title

Dan Wood came out on top of the 45 strong field of professionals and amateurs in the Northamptonshire Open Championship.
The Brampton Heath pro was two over after the opening round at Northampton Golf Club but sealed a four stroke victory with a second round six-under-par 66.
He played his last 16 holes in seven under to finish ahead of England boys international Ben Jones also from Brampton Heath.
The next PGA Professional was Jon Handyside who was level for the tournament with rounds of 69 and 75.
