Woodbridge ends season with a win

Martin Woodbridge ended the season with a win in the final PGA in BB&O Order of Merit event the Autumn Classic at Frilford Heath.

Woodbridge produced a flawless round of six-under par 66 that contained no score above par and six birdies.  After a blistering five-under-par front nine Martin continued his strong play with a further birdie on hole 12 before coming home with six pars to finish.

His score was one stroke better than Tom Fleming with Dan Seymour rounding out the top three with a four-under-par score of 68.

Woodbridge’s win moved him into second place in the PGA BB&O final Order of Merit which was won by Guy Woodman with Paul Simpson finishing in third place.

The PGA in BB&O now look forward to the Winter Series at Stoke Park which begins on Thursday 19th November.
