Wootton collects OOM title

BBO’s Adam Wootton picked up the PGA in England (South) Order of Merit award at its annual dinner at Wentworth.

The Oxford Golf Centre golfer won the Southern Open and Kent Open on his way to finishing ahead of Chris Gane.

Meanwhile the BB&O trio of Martin Woodbridge, Paul Newman and Guy Woodman were all in action at European Tour Qualifying School in Spain.

Newman and Woodbridge were at El Saler – Newman missed out by a single stroke while Woodbridge finished two strokes back on one under par.

Woodman played at Las Colinas where he finished seven strokes behind the qualifying score.

The trio plus Wootton will have further playing opportunities when the BB&O’s popular Stoke Park Winter Series gets underway next week.
