Worcs playing schedule unveiled

The PGA in Worcestershire has unveiled its 2014 schedule which will get underway in March with two pro-ams at Worcester Golf & Country Club and Bewdley Pines.

Prior to that its annual general meeting will take place at North Worcestershire Golf Club on Thursday, February 13 from 5pm with its annual dinner at Kings Norton Golf Club on Friday, March 7.

April sees Stourbridge host an Alliance pro-am while Evesham hosts the Match v County clash towards the end of the month.

Moving into May and June, North Worcestershire, Gay Hill and Hagley take centre stage with the latter two staging the Ward Memorial Pro-Am and the Worcester Open Pro-Am respectively.

The Bill Firkins Memorial pro-am at Stourbridge tees off a busy July with The PGA in Worcestershire 36 hole Championship taking place at Droitwich on Wednesday, July 16.

Kidderminster welcomes the President’s Day pro-am at the end of July with Gay Hill staging the Worcester Open to round off the season on Wednesday, September 3.
