A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Trainee/PGA assistant to work at one of East Anglia’s prestigious golf clubs. The successful candidate will engage in all aspects of club life, be an effective team member, have an interest in Merchandising, Coaching and Custom Fitting while guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours of working hours within the Golfing business.
Most importantly the successfully candidate will enjoy providing an excellent level of customer service to members and visitors alike.
Expected duties for the successful applicant will be
- Assisting in the running of inter club competitions and rules queries
- Assisting in the day to day running of the Golf Shop and Driving Range
- Handle customer enquiries and shop sales
- Development of an in-depth product knowledge of the full range of products stocked with in the golf shop
- Upselling retail items and maintaining a high standard of retail presentation
- Be able to complete club repairs
- Carrying out custom fittings
- Deliver a high level of member and visitor service
- Conducting individual and group golf lessons (once qualifications reach the required proficiency levels)
