An opportunity has arisen for a PGA Assistant or new Trainee to join our team at The Drift Golf Club. This role provides an excellent opportunity to acquire new skills within a busy, modern golf club. The club has a Trackman range with 28 bays, designated chipping and putting greens plus two swing studios, perfect for club fittings and private lessons. It is the Club’s 50th Anniversary year and the course has seen several changes including building a new signature 9th hole, due to open in late Spring.
The position has a strong focus on customer service, retail knowledge, tee sheet and competition administration and driving range management. The Club has a full junior section with 120 members as well as a popular ladies academy. Alongside the role there will be some guaranteed group coaching hours.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, provide excellent customer service, and can work under pressure. This candidate must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends, bank holidays and to reflect the seasonal nature of the business. An average of 30 hours a week will be provided in the shop.
Previous Pro shop work is preferred but not essential.
