An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PGA Trainee or PGA Member to join the professional team at Walmley Golf Club in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, under the employment of Alex Stockton Golf Ltd.
Walmley Golf Club is a prestigious private members' club featuring a beautiful 18-hole parkland course, excellent practice facilities, and a recently refurbished clubhouse. The club has a strong membership base and enjoys high retention among visitors and societies.
The Role
Alex Stockton Golf Ltd is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and forward-thinking individual with a strong desire to develop into a top-tier PGA Member. The successful candidate will work closely with Alex Stockton and the professional team to enhance the overall experience for Walmley GC members and visitors. Opportunities will exist for employed work within the shop and self-employed teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining a well-stocked professional shop
- Operating the tee-time management system
- Delivering exceptional customer service to members and visitors
- Carrying out club repairs and re-gripping services
- Developing and growing your coaching business
- Conducting custom fitting appointments
Training & Development
The successful applicant will receive ongoing training and support from Alex Stockton Golf Ltd, the professional team, and industry experts. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills and progress as a PGA Member.
