Role: PGA Trainee/ PGA Assistant Professional
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a PGA Trainee / PGA Assistant Professional to join the team in Woodenbridge Golf Club. Candidates should be able to deliver exceptional customer service to club members and visitors in a professional and personal manner.
Woodenbridge Golf Club is a thriving members club and an extremely popular visitor destination which is situated in the stunning Vale of Avoca in Co. Wicklow.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and approachable while being able to demonstrate their enthusiasm and knowledge of golf. They should be a strong communicator and be keen to develop themselves into a top-class PGA Professional. This is a permanent, full-time role, and the candidate must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and to reflect the seasonal nature of the business.
There will be an opportunity to coach members & guests at our practice facilities and to assist the Head Professional with developing the large junior membership section. With the imminent arrival of our state-of-the-art trackman swing room and custom fit studio the successful applicant has the opportunity to become lead custom fitter, benefiting from commission on sales. Other day-to-day tasks will include shop retail, competition administration and golf operations, as well as the opportunity to compete in PGA Tournaments.
Structured training will be given covering all areas of the business by the Head Professional to help develop and progress your career in the Golf Industry.
